Privacy Policy
Kurso is a medication reminder and wellbeing journal. It is built so that your health information stays on your iPhone. This policy explains what the app stores and where.
- Your health information — medicines, doses, wellbeing, measurements and diary — is stored only on your iPhone. We never receive it.
- Kurso has no account, no advertising and no analytics.
- If you subscribe to Kurso Plus, Apple processes the payment and our subscription provider Adapty records the purchase. It never receives anything you enter in Kurso.
What Kurso stores on your device
Medications and schedules, dose history, wellbeing check-ins (mood, anxiety, energy, sleep, symptoms, side effects, measurements), questionnaire results and diary entries. This data is kept in the app's private storage on your iPhone and is shared only with Kurso's own Home Screen widgets. It is included in your device backups according to your iOS settings, which are handled by Apple, not by us.
Apple Health
If you turn it on, Kurso can save your mood, symptoms, measurements and anxiety questionnaire results to Apple Health. Kurso only writes data you enter in the app. You can turn this off in the app or revoke access at any time in the Health app. Data shared with Apple Health is never used for advertising or sold, and is not shared with us or anyone else.
Notifications
Reminders are scheduled locally on your iPhone. You can turn on discreet notifications so medicine names are hidden on the lock screen.
Sharing
Kurso can create a PDF report or a diary export. It is created on your device and is shared only when you send it yourself, for example to your doctor, using the iOS share sheet. Diary entries are included in a report only if you mark them to share.
Kurso Plus and subscriptions
Kurso Plus is an optional subscription bought through the App Store. Apple handles the payment; we never see your payment details. To show subscription offers, unlock Kurso Plus and restore purchases, the app uses Adapty, a subscription service by Adapty Tech Inc.
Adapty receives a random identifier created by the app, your purchase history in Kurso (product, price, dates and transaction IDs), your App Store country, your device model, iOS version, app version and language, and the IP address of the connection, which is used to determine your country. Adapty does not receive your name, email, advertising identifier or anything you enter in Kurso, including which medicines you take. This data is used only to provide subscriptions and to see how many people subscribe. It is not used for advertising or tracking and is not sold. Read Adapty's privacy policy.
Face ID
If you lock the app or the diary with Face ID, authentication is handled by iOS. Kurso never receives your biometric data.
Deleting your data
You can delete individual entries in the app. Deleting Kurso removes all of its data from your iPhone. Data already saved to Apple Health can be deleted in the Health app. To delete the purchase data held by Adapty, write to us at the address below.
Children
Kurso is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from children.
Not medical advice
Kurso helps you keep notes and reminders. It does not diagnose or treat any condition. Always follow your doctor's advice.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new effective date. The English version of this policy is the reference version.
